From The Pastor's Desk
As your pastor, I am praying for you. I can identify with the Apostle Paul who prayed for the church at Ephesians with great affection and expectation to what the Power of Spirit could do working through the church for God's glory. Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine. (Eph. 3:20)
Two years ago when i was assigned to server as the pastor of Graceville First Untied Methodist, I had no idea how God would bless! We've welcomed 42 new members, our attendance has increased by 20%. Our stewardship has increased. We've started new Ministries and Missions, we've sent out a Mission team of 16 people to Haiti. In so many ways, God is blessing! To God be the glory! God's able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine. I'm thankful to God and to you. I'm grateful to be serving as your pastor, and I'm glad I've been assigned to Graceville First Untied Methodist for another year. Graceville United Methodist Church is a grace filled, loving, friendly Family of Faith.last two years we've paid our Apportionment's in full and finished the year in black. I need your help! For us to do even greater things than we can imagine this coming year. Let's recommit together, pray, make worship a priority, serve, witness, reach out to our community, and be the church our Lord has called us to be. Graceville First United Methodist has been a sleeping giant for long enough. It is time for us to wake up to our potential. I've got a dream, that our Sanctuary which seats 350 will be completely full, and there will be standing room only. My dream is that not only for worship to be a top priority for us, but also that all our members will be actively engaged in serving our community. Let us trust, pray, and server. God can do far greater things than we can imagine. Looking forward to seeing what God will do as we pray and serve together. ~Blessings, Jason
